A weekly drawing course for serious budding artists, ages 9 and up. Led by Nadia Alam — award-winning illustrator and owner of Nuts & Shells — this is a real studio class built around the kind of observational skills that take practice to develop.
What To Expect
- Timed drawing exercises to build speed and instinct
- Gesture drawing to capture movement and form
- Longer-form studies for close observation
- Sessions occasionally include a live, clothed model for figure drawing practice
What's Supplied
- Drawing boards and basic materials provided
- Artists are welcome to bring their own materials too
